Restaurant
This restaurant was serving 350 a week and turning
over £7,000 a week which made them a profit of £2,500
a week.
Their request was simple, they wanted to make
more money.
The solution was easy. Get more people to spend
more money, more often. But how?
I asked the owners a few simple questions -
what the customers ordered, what times and days they came,
how much they spent.
Here are their solutions:
1. Get more people on the door - the restaurant
could serve 100 a day easily but was serving at half the capacity.
I created special offers which enticed customers at the restaurants
quiet hours.
2. I created a up-selling system which made
sure the order takers always asked the customer if they wanted
a specific side dish with their chosen main course and also
to recommend what they had last time after asking how it was.
3. I created a system to capture the customers
details so that they can be notified most cost effectively
about changes or upcoming offers at the restaurant.
4. I educated the customers on how the food
is prepared, why it is prepared in such ways. How every care
is taken to make sure the dishes are the best. I explained
where we got the ingredients from, I emphasized how fresh
they were, I showed them that we care, I showed them why they
should never go anywhere else but this restaurant.
